KALIR-KANDA- TRICK YOUR STOMACH AND LOSE WEIGHT!

On social networks, you can often read about the kalir-kanda plant. The active users tap away that “once you try 1-2 leaves of kalir-kanda, a person feels full for a whole week, even though there are no nutrients in the leaves” https://dimka-jd.livejournal.com/1527144.html”

Factchecker.uz decided to check whether this plant exists or not. A Google search, however, did not yield any botanical information about calir kanda (kalir kanda, calir kanda, calir-canda, etc.). The available information:

- Kalir-kanda is mentioned only on Russian sites. News about this wonderful plant is spreading among weight loss activists, but people are asking a lot of money for its leaves/seeds.

- The iconography of kalir-kanda is varied: under this name, there may be an image of breadfruit. But it cannot suppress hunger for a whole week. In Hindi, "kalir kanda" (पेट मूर्ख) actually means "cheating the stomach". Kalir-kanda does not exist in nature - this plant was invented by Russian dietary supplement traders.
