The posts about how to win by downloading the Tax mobile application by writing personal messages and the "Tax service messages" channel on Telegram are gaining more and more interest online.
According to the press service of the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan, a fake channel with the same name as the Tax Committee's "News of the Tax Service" channel in Telegram messenger and a fake account are phishing naive netizens.
"False messages about the possibility of downloading the Tax mobile application via the Telegram channel and personal account and getting a monetary reward for it are fake. We warn you that fraudsters are trying to deceive you. Do not download the application from unknown sources. Install and update the application only from official websites," Yelena Ismayeva, the press secretary of the State Tax Committee's information policy advisor says.

Internet users should easily distinguish the committee's Telegram channel from other fake channels through a special blue icon. Also, this symbol provides additional security to the official page.
